Nordea Art Foundation Finland

Nordea Art Foundation Finland is a charitable foundation that supports research into and the preservation of Finnish art and art history, and the history of commercial banking. The foundation maintains and develops its own art collection, arranges exhibitions, lends works to exhibitions and supports Finnish art by awarding an art prize to one established artist in Finland each year. Nordea Art Foundation Finland also manages Nordea’s portrait collection, which consists of 74 works of art.

Nordea Art Foundation Finland’s collection comprises 1,038 works, including many nationally renowned works and historical rarities. The works were selected from the collections of Nordea Bank’s Finnish predecessors, and they cover almost two centuries of Finnish art. Approximately half of the works in the collection are exhibited at Nordea offices throughout Finland.

Works in the collection can be viewed on pre-booked guided tours of Nordea’s Old Banking Hall at Aleksanterinkatu 36B, Helsinki.

A member since 2007.
